Boutique GPO (group purchasing organization) and leading health care services and software company is seeking a visionary leader for their Strategic Analytics team to drive data-driven decision-making and value for their Pharmaceutical GPO business.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Analytics and Data Science team, fostering innovation and collaboration with creating models and tools that assist the company and clients with reporting, strategy and storytelling from a data perspective
• Engage in key analytics projects to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Mentor team members in translating complex analytics into actionable data stories.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align analytics with strategic objectives.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare data, advanced analytics, and machine learning.
• Deliver comprehensive analyses of the GPO market landscape and go-to-market strategies.
• Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic planning and execution.
• Advise senior leadership with data-driven recommendations for optimizing Pharma GPO strategies.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in healthcare data science and analytics with claims, formulary, market access, reimbursement, supply chain
• 3+ years in a management role leading a team
• Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning models.
• Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• In-depth expertise in the pharmaceutical supply chain and healthcare datasets.
• Understanding of the GPO dual-sided healthcare network business model.
