Position Summary

The Field Service Technician’s role is to support and maintain organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. That includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. This role will also troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or Incident) in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide caregiver assistance where required.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting and maintaining organizational computer systems, desktops, and peripherals.
• Installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all organizational hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance.
• Able to troubleshoot problem areas (in person, by telephone, or incident) in a timely manner and accurate fashion, and provide assistance where required.
• Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions, including off-site repair for remote users as needed.
• Construct, install, and test customized configurations based on various platforms and operating systems.
• Receive and respond to incoming calls, pages, and/or incidents regarding desktop problems. Participates in on-call 24x7 on-call rotation with support team

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in desktop operating systems and applications
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills Knowledge of the ITIL framework Knowledge of Virtual environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• 1-2 years of experience in desktop support or 1-2 years of experience installing operating systems.
