Job Description

Your primary responsibilities will be to ensure timely deliveries and shipments to customers or vendors. This includes route delivery in our company vehicle, route planning/preparation, packaging, and verifying orders. You will also assist in receiving customer owned equipment and processing it into our system to be calibrated. You will work alongside other members of our Logistics and Coordination team to ensure smooth operations inside and outside our Irvine lab. Our training program will ensure that you will be ready with all the skills needed to become a successful Route Driver and Logistics Associate. Initially, you will learn how to:

· Perform pickup/delivery (in company vehicle)

· Prepare and plan your daily route

· Package, ship, and receive technical equipment

· Accurately and effectively communicate and escalate anomalous conditions, backlogs, or other situations needing attention of management

· Follow all policies and procedures

Requirements/Qualifications

Successful Applicants will possess the following qualities:

· Prior logistics, delivery, and/or warehouse experience strongly valued although not required

· Responsible, reliable, and punctual

· Computer skills (Daily use of Windows including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Dynamics, web browser, and proprietary software)

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· High attention to detail

· Accurate data entry skills

· Organization skills – Must be comfortable and capable of keeping many papers and documents organized in a structured filing system

· Ability to lift 50 lbs

· Enjoys both desk work and hands-on work

· High School Diploma

· Have a valid driver's license for at least 3 years

· Ability to meet the required driving record for insurance purposes

· Must be at least 21 years of age

· Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and skills tests

Schedule

Full Time.

7AM-4PM, Monday – Friday, Overtime
