OmicsVeu is Hiring: Research Scientist – Molecular Pathology

📍 Fremont, CA | 🧪 Full-time | On-site

We’re looking for a skilled Research Scientist with hands-on expertise in IHC, ISH, and FISH , capable of evaluating stains using both brightfield and fluorescence microscopy as well as digital slide scanners . If you thrive at the intersection of molecular pathology and automation—this role is for you.

🔍 Key Responsibilities

Design and validate oligonucleotide probes for DNA and mRNA markers
Analyze and interpret tissue stains ( IHC, ISH, FISH ) using manual microscopy and digital platforms
Optimize protocols on fully automated staining systems
Ensure assay precision and reproducibility across multiplex workflows
Work within ISO 13485 and US FDA regulated environments

🧬 Ideal Candidate

MSc or PhD in Molecular Pathology , Molecular Biology, or Life Sciences
OR several years of experience in a high-throughput histopathology lab
Strong command of IHC, ISH, and FISH assay development and troubleshooting
Skilled in oligo probe design and protocol optimization
Comfortable working with automated imaging and staining platforms
Familiar with regulated quality systems and documentation practices
