Minimum Requirements:
- Eighteen (18) years of age or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Training and / or experience using Microsoft Office Suite
- One (1) year as an office assistant with either bookkeeping, accounting, banking and / or loan processing experience
- Valid driver's license and access to transportation for use on the job or acceptable alternative to drive to post the office and local bank
Job Duties:
- Provide outstanding customer service
- Prepare closing documents and funds commercial loans according to guidelines
- Ensure documents are tracked, monitored, and followed up on in a timely manner
- Process loan renewal / modification requests on existing loans
- Prepare payoff requests
- Maintain records by ensuring loan files are completed
- Create, prepare, and produce reports and spreadsheets for owners and clients
- Reconcile monthly bank statements
- Monitor, report, and collect on past due accounts
- Accurately process transactions and assist with customer service needs
- Process loan payments
- Process automatic monthly payments
- Create and process ACH file with banking system
- Conduct online banking transactions
- Track and prepare correspondence for insurance and payment of property taxes on properties
- Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from team members
- Effective communication skills, organizational skills, and maintain positive relationships
- Perform general office duties such as filing and typing
- Ask security questions to verify identity and protect accounts
- Maintain strict confidentiality standards and guidelines
- Perform other duties as directed by owners
Preferred (not required):
- Quicken experience
- Mortgage Bankers / Mortgage Brokers license
Employer Notes:
- This is not a remote position
- The qualified applicant will have to learn the employers loan software; this employer provides training
- This employer conducts a drug test and a background check before first day of employment
Hours:
- Business hours are 8 am to 5 pm; Monday through Friday, but this employer offers a very flexible schedule that varies from twenty-six (26) or more hours per week depending on the employers need; you can start as early as 7 am
Wage / Benefits:
- $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience and qualifications
- Mileage reimbursement
- Holiday pay
- Medical reimbursement if position becomes full-time
