Job Description

LHH is looking for a Legal Assistant - Labor & Employment Law for a law firm in Pittsburgh . The role is on-site, 5 days/week, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM.

About the Role:

A respected law firm in Pittsburgh is seeking a Legal Assistant to support at least three attorneys, in their busy Labor and Employment Law practice. This is a fully on-site position requiring a detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and highly organized individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage heavy attorney scheduling , calendar management, and meeting coordination
  • Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
  • Maintain and organize physical and digital case files
  • Handle time entry and billing using TimeSlips (transitioning away)
  • Enter and manage case data using TimeMatters and Worldox (transitioning to NetDocuments )
  • Draft correspondence and assist with document filing and deadlines
  • Support general administrative needs including phone coverage, mail, and supply inventory

Preferred Software Experience:

  • TimeSlips
  • TimeMatters
  • Worldox (document management – transitioning to NetDocuments )
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of legal assistant experience , preferably in labor/employment law
  • Proven ability to manage multiple attorneys’ schedules and deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with great attention to detail
  • Comfortable with legal software and adapting to system transitions
  • $50,000 – $65,000 (Depending on experience) plus benefits
