Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Legal Administrator for a wonder law practice in Hartford, CT. This position is ideal for individuals with some legal experience who are looking to expand their skills in a fast-paced legal environment. As a Legal Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the legal team, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day activities. This is a Temp to Hire position that will become perm, onsite in Hartford Monday- Friday 8:30-5pm. If you have corporate legal administrative experience even better apply right away.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff
• Manage and organize legal documents, including filings, contracts, and client records
• Assist with preparing legal forms, letters, and other documents
• Schedule meetings, court dates, and appointments
• Handle communication with clients, vendors, and courts
• Assist with case management and other legal tasks as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of legal administrative experience
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with legal research or case management software
• Paralegal or similar certification is a plus
