Yancey Wire & Cable, a trusted distributor in the wire and cable industry, is seeking a smart, reliable, and customer-focused  Inside Sales / Order Management Coordinator to join our team. This role combines precision in order entry and processing with proactive sales support and customer relationship management.

The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to think proactively—connecting customer orders to inventory flow and helping uncover sales opportunities. Responsibilities:

Order Management

• Accurately enter and process customer orders, ensuring all product details, pricing, and delivery requirements are confirmed and correct.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and operations to avoid shortages or delays.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer orders, quotes, pricing, and communications.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Troubleshoot order issues and communicate updates or changes to customers proactively.

Inside Sales & Customer Support

• Serve as a primary point of contact for existing accounts—answering product questions, providing pricing, and building rapport with the customer.
• Prepare and follow up on quotes to support closing sales and increasing order volume.
• Support retention and reactivation of customer accounts through regular communication and personalized service.
• Partner with other sales reps to provide seamless customer experiences and strategic account support.
