Passionate about web development and looking to take your skills to the next level? We’re a digital marketing agency specializing in e-commerce, and we’re on the hunt for an experienced and dedicated developer with strong skills in Shopify and Wordpress to join us at our office in Edmonds. This contract position is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in website building and development who’s ready to support our customers and maintain our hosting environment of around 50 websites.

About the Role:

As our Web Developer, you’ll work hands-on with Shopify and WordPress, handling customer requests for updates, changes, and troubleshooting. You’ll also contribute to our development efforts across a diverse range of client sites.  A strong background in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Shopify Liquid, and PHP is essential.

Requirements:

• At least 2+ years of experience in Shopify development, WordPress development, and back-end development
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs, and JSON based REST APIs
• Experience customizing Shopify themes and creating custom themes
• Ability to implement third-party integrations and Shopify apps
• Can optimize page load speeds and image compression to enhance site performance.
• Bonus:  Skills in customer management, communication, and Shopify App development are a plus!

About Us:

We’re a small team looking to grow fast in a collaborative and innovative environment. Since 2013, we’ve been helping e-commerce businesses and local businesses grow through our services in SEO, ads, and website development. 

This position will begin part-time with the opportunity to convert into a full-time role.  We work out of Edmonds, WA at a great coworking location right by the waterfront that includes free kombucha, coffee, tea, and more. We’re passionate about helping e-commerce and local businesses thrive online and we’re equally committed to helping our team members develop their skills.
