Job Description

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing warehouse team members, equipment, and schedules. The role includes enforcing operational procedures and supporting the coordination of warehouse operations with production, logistics, and procurement departments. This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA. The Warehouse Supervisor will report to the Electrolit Manufacturing Warehouse Manager and act as the lead in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.

Principal Duties

  1. Maintain inventory tracking systems to increase manufacturing throughput and improve stock accuracy.
  2. Oversee receiving, cycle count activities, and month-end inventory to ensure physical inventories reconcile with system records (SAP).
  3. Train all new warehouse employees and assess ongoing training needs based on performance.
  4. Coordinate staffing requirements to cover attendance shortages.
  5. Schedule and coordinate materials transferred to and from the warehouse, including interdepartmental transfers.
  6. Ensure stock is stored in correct warehouse locations and dock storage areas are organized.
  7. Manage flow of finished products from production areas and oversee disposition of damaged or used materials.
  8. Enforce operating procedures, safety policies, and regulatory compliance.
  9. Monitor and report high-cost repairs and coordinate equipment maintenance with vendors and forklift mechanics.
  10. Act as SuperUser (Advance Team Member) for the Warehouse WMS system.
  11. Ensure clean, orderly, and safe warehouse operations at all times.
  12. Participate in planning for personnel safety and plant protection.
  13. Report significant issues and risks to management.
  14. Other duties as assigned by Management.

Skills

  1. Strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
  2. In-depth knowledge of SAP and warehouse inventory reconciliation.
  3. Familiarity with warehouse automation systems including LGVs, racking, and dock door automation.
  4. Knowledge of federal and state safety protocols and emergency preparedness.
  5. Understanding of company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
  6. Proven experience supervising teams and warehouse operations.

Qualifications:

Minimum:

  • 4 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • 4 years in a supervisory or similar leadership role.
  • Experience managing teams and projects.

Preferred:

  • 6 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
  • 6 years of supervisory and project management experience.
  • Note: Experience may include a combination of formal education and work-related experience.

Other Requirements

  • Must be able to lift Thirty (30) pounds.
  • Must be able to comfortably use ladders and step stools.
