Job Title: Training & Implementation Specialist

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000 annually

Position Summary

The Training & Implementation Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive software training and implementation services to new clients following the completion of system configuration. This role serves as the primary educational contact during the critical go-live phase, ensuring all stakeholders are properly trained on role-specific functionalities and confident in using our EMR platform. The specialist orchestrates intensive one-week implementation programs that transform configured systems into fully operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities Training Coordination & Delivery
  • Coordinate and schedule comprehensive one-week implementation programs for new clients
  • Send training invitations to all corresponding roles and stakeholders for role-specific sessions
  • Conduct multiple daily training sessions throughout the implementation week
  • Lead kickoff meetings to set expectations and implementation goals
  • Facilitate closing meetings with engaging activities and swag distribution
  • Deliver role-specific training tailored to different user types (clinicians, administrators, billing staff, etc.)
Implementation Management
  • Serve as primary point of contact during the training and go-live phase
  • Develop and maintain training schedules that accommodate client availability
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff from Onboarding Specialists
  • Monitor training progress and adjust delivery methods as needed
  • Ensure all users achieve proficiency benchmarks before go-live
Client Success & Support
  • Provide exceptional customer experience during the critical implementation phase
  • Address training-related questions and concerns in real-time
  • Create positive, engaging learning environments that build user confidence
  • Document training completion and user readiness assessments
  • Facilitate smooth transition to ongoing support and customer success teams
Documentation & Follow-up
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions and attendance
  • Update project management systems with implementation progress
  • Provide post-training recap materials and resources
  • Create customized training materials when standard offerings don't meet specific client needs
Qualifications Required
  • 3+ years experience in software training, implementation, or customer education
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills with ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Experience training healthcare professionals or clinical staff
  • Excellent project coordination and scheduling abilities
  • Ability to learn complex software platforms quickly and teach others effectively
  • Superior communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with virtual training platforms and tools
Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Healthcare Administration, or related field
  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems in behavioral health or mental health settings
  • Background in clinical or healthcare environments
  • Previous experience in SaaS implementation or customer onboarding
  • Training certification or instructional design experience
  • Familiarity with adult learning principles and methodologies

  • Coordination with facility IT staff and key decision makers
  • Potential interaction with third-party integration partners during training
Working and Environmental Conditions
  • Requires in office presence four days per week with one designated work-from-home day
  • Up to 50% travel required for on-site training and implementation weeks at client facilities
  • Intensive training schedules requiring flexibility and stamina during implementation weeks
  • Must demonstrate high ethical standards when handling confidential client and patient information
  • May require occasional evening or weekend work to accommodate client schedules
