Position Summary:

As a Recruiter for our national strategic delivery team, you will play a critical role in identifying and engaging top-tier technology professionals for our key clients. You will work closely with Business Development to fulfill strategic hiring needs while building strong talent pipelines. The successful candidate is a high performing and experienced technology staffing recruiter who excels at connecting top IT talent with the right career opportunities.

Location: Bedford, Chicago, Dallas

Key responsibilities:

  • Proactively source, screen, and engage highly qualified technology professionals through various channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from initial outreach and screening to interview coordination, offer negotiation, and onboarding
  • Partner closely with Business Development and hiring teams to understand client needs, job requirements, and hiring priorities
  • Build and maintain a strong candidate pipeline for high-demand skill sets in IT, software development, cloud, cybersecurity, and other technology sectors
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and CRM tools to track candidate interactions, manage talent pipelines, and maintain accurate records
  • Represent Planet Technology professionally and promote our brand as an employer of choice in the tech staffing industry

Required qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of recruitment experience in technology staffing
  • Proven success in sourcing and placing candidates in IT, software development, or related technical fields
  • Strong understanding of technical roles, skill sets, and industry hiring trends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with candidates and clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple priorities

Compensation and benefits:

  • Unlimited PTO

  • Base salary: $60,000 - $65,000 and uncapped commission structure

*The base salary rate will be commensurate with experience level and past success. A competitive commission structure based on weekly spread is also provided.
