Job Description

Talent Acquisition Partner

Location: Garland, TX (On-site 3 days/week)

Type: Full-Time | 6-Month Contract-to-Hire

Compensation: $35-40/hour

We are partnering with a well-established company in the communications technology and field services industry to fill a full-time Talent Acquisition Partner role. This is a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity based in Garland, TX, with an on-site requirement of three days per week.

The company is in growth mode following a recent acquisition in Canada and seeks a recruiter with hands-on experience managing a diverse requisition load—including field service, enterprise sales, and corporate roles—across both the U.S. and Canadian markets.

About the Role

In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment for approximately 10–15 open positions at any given time, with an average of 6–7 hires per month. About half of the requisitions will support field operations, particularly technician roles based in regional branch locations. The remainder includes hiring for enterprise sales and various corporate functions.

This environment is best suited for someone who thrives in a practical, operations-driven setting versus a highly polished corporate environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, resourceful, and able to build trust with hiring managers across a variety of teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for field, sales, and corporate roles, ensuring timely and high-quality hiring outcomes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to develop and execute tailored recruitment strategies across diverse business functions.
  • Source, screen, and assess candidates for both U.S. and Canadian openings.
  • Maintain accurate records and workflows in the company’s HRIS/ATS (Paycom).
  • Support recruitment efforts related to a recent Canadian acquisition and workforce integration.
  • Promote a positive candidate experience throughout every stage of the process.
  • Collaborate with HR and operations teams on hiring priorities, onboarding, and talent planning initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment, including roles in field services, skilled trades, or similar operational settings.
  • Experience recruiting across North America, particularly in both U.S. and Canadian markets; prior experience with Canadian hiring practices is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume requisition loads with varying levels of complexity.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems; experience with Paycom is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport across teams and levels.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with evolving priorities.
  • Must be based in the U.S. and available to work on-site in Garland, TX three days per week.
