Cross Country Education is actively seeking a passionate and skilled Bilingual Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 3–5 in a supportive self-contained setting. This is a full-time, on-site position in the 60406 zip code area , offering an incredible opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of diverse learners.

📌 Position Highlights:

• Grades : 3rd through 5th
• Pay Range : $46/hr
• Location : Zip Code 60406
• Start Date : Immediate or as soon as the right candidate is available
• Schedule : Full-time, Monday through Friday
• Language Requirement : Spanish-English bilingual required
• Interview Format : In-person

✅ Qualifications:

• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate Special Education endorsement
• Previous experience writing and implementing IEPs
• Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
• Experience supporting students with diverse academic and behavioral needs

🧠 What You'll Do:

• Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction in Spanish for students with IEPs
• Create and implement IEPs tailored to students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
• Collaborate closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, technologies, and materials to support learning
• Track student progress and use data to inform and adapt teaching practices
• Build a positive and inclusive classroom culture that supports student growth and self-advocacy
