Overview

A temporary Social Media Strategist is needed to lead and execute social media initiatives that enhance brand reputation across Private Bank, Private Wealth, and Wealth Management audiences. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams to align messaging, coordinate campaigns, and deliver high-impact content on key platforms. The ideal candidate brings deep social media expertise, strong content instincts, and thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Pay: $32 - $37/hr, paid weekly, benefits eligible

Social Media Strategist Duties

• Manage day-to-day operations across major social media platforms to maintain brand consistency and audience engagement.
• Create campaign briefs and lead kick-offs with internal teams and external agency partners.
• Maintain and coordinate editorial calendars with a strategic eye on alignment and storytelling opportunities.
• Write and edit engaging post copy for platforms such as LinkedIn and Meta.
• Oversee the execution and training of colleague advocacy/social selling initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive, integrated campaign delivery.
• Analyze performance metrics to derive insights and optimize strategy across channels.
• Manage platform budgets and social media distribution spend.
• Provide daily direction and support to social media community managers for content scheduling and execution.

Social Media Strategist Requirements

• 6+ years of hands-on social media experience, including content creation, distribution, and management.
• Proficiency with Sprinklr or other social media management systems.
• Strong understanding of major social media platforms (LinkedIn, Meta, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
• Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and tone.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to respond quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Experience in paid social media distribution.
• Proven success managing multiple projects and priorities under pressure.
• Experience working with vendors and agency partners.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Background in regulated industries is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
