Our client, a leading scientific magazine, is seeking temporary Senior Editor to support one of their Features teams. This temporary position would start as soon as possible and last through September. If you're interested, apply today!

About the Job:

• Partner with teams to develop storytelling formats.
• Develop and manage editorial pieces aligned with the magazine's mission.
• Ensure factual accuracy, proper editorial quality, and timely delivery of materials.
• Provide support with content, scheduling, and contracts.
• Support the department through additional relevant tasks as needed.

About You:

• 6+ years of progressively complex editorial experience are required.
• A bachelor's degree, preferably in Journalism or English, is required.
• Experience managing content from pitch to publication is required.
• Strong Adobe Suite and CMS platform skills are required; Knowledge of Airtable is a plus.
• Demonstrated multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.

About the Position:

• Pays $44/hr-$51/hr, depending on experience.
• Temporary through the end of September.
• Hours are 9am-5:30pm.
• Washington, DC.
