Job Description

We are looking for Self Motivated Sales Estimator who fits the following:

Position Summary: A roofing sales estimator’s responsibility is to inspect and measure roofs to create an accurate estimated cost of proposed roofing projects. This is done through physical inspection of roofs and software. Utilizing company pricing guidelines and quoting software. Customer service experience is vital to this role, prior roofing experience is appreciated but not required.

Essential Functions:

1. Roofing Sales Estimator

• Follow up on company provided leads.
• Provide estimates for projects using the company software, within the expected timeframe.
• Must be able to carry and climb ladders to inspect roofs and collect all required measurements.
• Take detailed picture of every potential job site from the ground and roof.
• Works with other departments to evaluate job cost and create proposals.

2. Sales and closing

• Communicate with customers to identify and understand their specific roofing needs; identify and suggest products and services to meet those needs.
• Demonstrates the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs. Go over finance options, the use of materials and type of warranties.
• Ensures customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
• Maintains detailed records on sales activities.

3. Other administrative duties

• Work with company provided software. CRM, apps and measurements tools.
• Follow up on provided estimates.
• Communicate with other departments on the scope of work for new or potential jobs.
• Attend company sales meetings and occasionally on or off-site product training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
