Job Description

Base Salary : USD 167,600 - USD 209,500 OTE (depending on market rates by region)

Base salary: 70% of total compensation

Bonus: 30% of total compensation (paid quarterly, based on KPI performance)

Location : Remote - Southern California (West-LA preferred)

Contract : 12-month contract with Palo Alto Networks through staffing partners

Position : Sales Engineer – GTM Team

Role Overview :

Our Client seeks a Sales Engineer with a technical and sales background to join the Go-To-Market (GTM) team. Reporting to the regional leader in GTM, this is an exciting opportunity for a self-starting, results-driven individual in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring satisfaction and helping clients meet success criteria
• Conduct in-depth technical discovery and present complex concepts clearly
• Collaborate with Product and R&D teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Handle 1st-level technical support and triage client issues, creating detailed tickets
• Update reports and leverage Salesforce for data-driven decision-making
• Travel extensively to support clients

Required Experience :

• 6+ years as a Sales Engineer, specializing in cybersecurity enterprise solutions
• Expertise in Networking, Network Security (FW, Proxy), Host Protection (EDR/EPP), Identity Management, and Data Leakage Prevention
• Strong technical background with hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
• Proven track record in selling complex cybersecurity solutions
• Strong communication, presentation, and creativity skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Education :

• BA/BS degree or equivalent, preferably with a numeracy base
