About the Role:

We're seeking a Quality Control Technician II to join our client's industry-leading team in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ. This is a direct hire opportunity with a highly respected company, offering long-term growth potential and the chance to work with cutting-edge products in a quality-driven environment.

As a QC Technician II , you'll play a vital role in ensuring that the company's products meet rigorous internal standards and customer expectations. You'll be responsible for performing inspections, data recording, and supporting the quality assurance process from incoming materials to final product release.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct inspections of raw materials, customer-supplied materials, returned goods, and special components.
• Perform in-process, start-up, and final product inspections.
• Monitor specific areas of production as directed by the Quality Supervisor.
• Accurately measure and document data using inspection forms and job cards.
• Perform tests and collect data for Statistical Process Control (SPC), as needed.
• Report non-conformances and process issues to the Quality Control Supervisor.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers regarding test failures and process deviations.
• Set up computer label printing programs for production lines.
• Support engineering projects by assisting with experimental testing.
• Enter inspection results into the BMS system.
• Complete additional quality-related tasks

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
• Solid understanding of documentation best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to assess product workmanship and specifications.
• Comfortable working with numbers and technical measurements.
• Proficient in using micrometers, testing equipment, electronic balances, and computers.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel is preferred.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
• Exposure to moderate noise levels and occasional proximity to moving mechanical parts and airborne particles.
• Requires walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and occasional lifting of items up to 15 lbs.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in a quality control or inspection role in a manufacturing setting is a plus.
