Our client is seeking a compassionate and skilled psychiatrist to provide exceptional mental health care to their diverse patient population. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on patients' lives while working within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative:

• Provide oversight and approval of psychiatric prescriptions issued by mid-level providers, ensuring quality care through thorough chart reviews.

Clinical:

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnoses, crafting personalized treatment plans that reflect best practices and community standards.
• Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions tailored to individual patient needs.
• Order necessary laboratory tests, consultations, and diagnostic procedures to support effective treatment.
• Document patient interactions and care promptly and accurately in medical records.
• Collaborate on relevant clinical information for precise billing of grants and insurance.
• Participate in on-call telephone triage as needed, ensuring continuous patient support.
• Uphold the clinic’s mission, vision, and values while adhering to standards of conduct and HIPAA regulations.
• Foster open and effective communication with patients, colleagues, and supervisors, consistently exceeding expectations.
• Engage patients as active partners in their care, respecting their values and preferences while building strong, trusting relationships.
• Contribute to team meetings and training sessions focused on patient-centered medical homes and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

• Valid medical license to practice psychiatry in California.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.
• A minimum of one year of experience in an outpatient psychiatric setting.
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• A passion for connecting with and understanding a culturally diverse patient population.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required .
