Job Description

I'm currently looking for a Technical Project Manager to join a global company that specializes in intelligent automation solutions for warehouses, manufacturing, and distribution centers. The company operates across 27+ countries and has delivered thousands of large-scale installations for major clients, especially in the fast-paced e-commerce sector.

This role will support projects within the Warehouse Automation space, working closely with one of the world’s leading e-commerce businesses. You’ll be the key point of contact for all technical aspects of the project and will work alongside the Project Manager to ensure engineering deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and to a high standard.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in project engineering or technical project management, particularly within material handling or automation.

Role Overview

• Translate project technical requirements into clear deliverables for Mechanical and Controls Engineering teams
• Coordinate engineering tasks from initial planning and design to system testing and handover
• Work with cross-functional teams including Software, Procurement, and external suppliers
• Ensure engineering schedules are met, and deliverables meet quality standards
• Lead technical reviews, track progress, and support risk management alongside the Project Manager
• Provide updates, reports, and forecasts throughout the project lifecycle
• Be the main technical contact for both internal teams and the client
• Travel to project/job sites (around 45% average)

What We're Looking For

• A degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering
• 5+ years’ experience in engineering or technical project management
• Experience with automated systems or material handling projects preferred
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working in a global matrix organization
• Strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality delivery
