Project Manager - Home Remodeling Northern & Central NJ ( 5 Yrs Exp Min) 

Magnolia Home Remodeling Group is a well known and firmly established family owned and operated home remodeling company seeking to hire a project manager position for both interior and exterior remodeling out of our Union NJ office.

Compensation includes $75,000 salary, quarterly bonuses, paid vacation, vehicle allowance, gas card, cell phone and iPad.

This job requires 5 years home remodeling project management as well as a strong comfort level with technology.

The position is for independent, self-starting individuals that already understand the business of remodeling. This job is from approx 8:00 to 5:00, Monday to Friday. Occasional late appointments if you need to meet your customer in the evening.

The ideal candidate has experience in home construction with an emphasis on kitchens, bathroom and basement renovations. We are specifically looking for Project Managers who are customer-focused and work well with a team. Our perfect candidate will have at least 5 years and preferably 10 years of experience.

Our process is to have our sales rep assess the project and after the project is sold there is a handoff to the project manager who takes the job to completion.

The expectation is to keep $250,000 worth of work in progress at any given time and to complete $150,000+ per month, on schedule, and on budget.

This usually means you will be running from 8-10 jobs at a time, in 3 or 4 different towns. Our remodeling Project Managers are organized and comfortable with technology and most important possess the ability to communicate effectively with your clients.

Requirements:

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Required experience:

  • ‪5 years minimum remodeling Residential Homes
  • ‪5 years minimum remodeling Kitchens and Bathrooms
  • ‪Proven communication skills
  • ‪Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
  • Design & project management experience
  • Interact directly with clients from start to completion
  • Generate and process detailed progress reports
  • Must be highly organized, able to multitask, handle several different projects efficiently, and provide exceptional client service
  • Strong work ethic and an eagerness to grow
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
