Job Description

Cetera Financial Group (CFG) is seeking a Procurement Lead who will be responsible for leading sourcing projects, analyzing pricing and other data, and overseeing category needs. The Procurement Lead will lead negotiations including pricing and contract terms, as well as collaborating on contract development. The role will involve close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, documenting processes and outcomes, communicating policies and procedures, supporting various purchase models, and providing updates on project-related work.

This is a hybrid role, 2 days a week in office.

What you will do:

  • Lead sourcing events and activities such as RFI/RFPs, internal stakeholder and supplier meetings, negotiations, and contract development, as assigned.
  • Build effective, strategic relationships with internal business units, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Review and analyze pricing and supplier data to drive outcomes.
  • Present recommendations and strategies to client groups and other stakeholders.
  • Service internal clients by highlighting expiring contracts, updating account information, and confirming business needs.
  • Measure, track, and report on internal cost savings performance to targets.
  • Prepare retroactive reviews, comparative reviews, presentations, and other reporting used to inform internal stakeholders.
  • Engage in conversion-related activity to conduct due diligence, onboard suppliers, capture synergies, assign agreements, etc.
  • Contribute to the creation of templates, user guides, and procedures to improve the efficiency of various procurement activities.
  • Support of general Procurement processes, including Oracle application support, P-Card and Travel programs, trainings, and general email inquiries.

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Contracts Consultant or in a similar procurement role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices and market trends.

Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $70,000 - $105,000, plus a competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
