Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and discreet professional to serve as both private driver for our CEO and assistant handyman/grounds maintenance for the executive's private residence. This unique dual role requires exceptional driving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.

Primary Responsibilities

Driving & Transportation (30% of role)

  • Provide safe, reliable, and punctual transportation for the CEO to business meetings, appointments, airports, and personal engagements
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of Omaha metro area roads, traffic patterns, and optimal routes
  • Plan efficient routes considering traffic, weather, and scheduling constraints
  • Ensure executive vehicle is always clean, fueled, and in excellent mechanical condition
  • Coordinate with executive assistant on scheduling and itinerary changes
  • Assist with luggage, briefcases, and other personal items as needed
  • Maintain absolute discretion regarding conversations, destinations, and passengers
  • Handle vehicle registration, insurance coordination, and routine service appointments

Estate Maintenance & Handyman Services (70% of role)

  • Maintain grounds areas, bird baths and feeders, planters and landscape beds
  • Handle basic maintenance on plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems
  • Execute basic construction projects including drywall repair, painting, and minor carpentry
  • Perform routine maintenance on household appliances, electronics, and systems
  • Provide cleaning and upkeep of the swimming pool
  • Collaborate closely with the Estate Manager on maintenance schedules and priorities
  • Respond promptly to urgent repair needs and emergency situations

Required Qualifications

Driving Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record (minimum 5 years)
  • Professional driving experience preferred (executive, chauffeur, or commercial)
  • Ability to drive various vehicle types including luxury sedans and SUVs
  • Knowledge of Omaha metropolitan area geography and traffic patterns

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in general maintenance, repair, or construction
  • Demonstrated proficiency in plumbing, electrical, and HVAC basics
  • Automotive maintenance knowledge and experience
  • Ability to operate power tools and equipment safely
  • Basic computer skills for scheduling and maintenance logs

  • Environment : Professional office/business settings and residential property maintenance
  • Travel : Primarily local Omaha area with occasional regional trips

Preferred Qualifications

  • CDL license or professional chauffeur certification
  • Trade school education or professional certifications in relevant fields
  • Previous experience working in high-end residential properties
  • First Aid/CPR certification
  • Experience with luxury vehicles and high-net-worth individuals

Reporting Structure
