We are looking for a skilled and innovative Power BI Developer to join our project analytics team. This is a dynamic role focused on improving data availability and building robust reporting solutions, specifically leveraging Power BI. The ideal candidate will enhance reporting capabilities, streamline processes, and implement new data pipelines to enable better decision-making.

You will be involved in various initiatives, including resource planning for construction projects, ensuring efficient deployment of engineers, and improving payroll processes. This role requires technical expertise, a keen eye for user experience design, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights through Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Looking for a BI Developer with 5+ years experience
• Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards and reports,
• Assist in the migration of data into more robust, scalable data structures, including the creation of new ETL pipelines with IT to ensure data is available for dashboards and reporting.
• Collaborate with teams on a project closely related to payroll submission reporting, focusing on data compilation and report building.
• Contribute to a major initiative in resource planning for construction, particularly regarding engineer qualifications, performance training, and assignment to construction sites.
• Build and implement a suggestion system within Power BI to improve the project fit and overall reporting process.
• Design and develop backend data models in Power BI, utilizing DAX and M-code (Power Query) to transform raw data into meaningful insights.
• Work with sensitive data, ensuring secure and compliant handling throughout the reporting process.
• Develop a strong understanding of business requirements and translate them into technical solutions that meet user needs.
• Participate in discussions and problem-solving sessions with IT and project teams to continuously improve data processes and reporting.
• Assist with the overall design, user interface (UI), and user experience (UX) of the reporting tools, ensuring that reports are user-friendly and actionable.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Power BI development, including DAX, M-code (Power Query), and backend data modeling.
• Proven experience in creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports from multiple data sources.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes, data migration, and database management.
• Familiarity with resource planning, construction management processes, or similar industries is a plus.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights that drive business decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in designing user-friendly and visually engaging dashboards with a focus on UI/UX principles.
• Ability to handle sensitive data securely and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Project Highlights:

• Work closely with the team to implement and optimize a data pipeline to ensure the successful delivery of business intelligence for reporting.
