Job Details: 

  • See patients in the clinic Monday through Friday

Job Overview:

  • We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Podiatrist to join our healthcare team.
  • The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care, focusing on both preventive and therapeutic measures.
  • This role involves working closely with patients of all ages, including pediatrics, to diagnose and treat various podiatric conditions.
  • The Podiatrist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop effective care plans and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and lower limbs to assess their condition.
  • Diagnose and treat a variety of podiatric issues, including injuries, infections, and chronic conditions.
  • Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical history.
  • Perform necessary procedures such as minor surgeries, wound care, and orthotic fittings.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals in the hospital setting for discharge planning and integrated patient care.
  • Educate patients on foot health, preventive measures, and proper footwear choices.
  • Stay updated on advancements in podiatry practices and technologies.


Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • Strong understanding of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients clearly.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and coding.
