Our client, a confidential entertainment company in the media industry, is urgently seeking a temporary corporate paralegal to start immediately. We’re prioritizing candidates with a strong corporate paralegal skill set, particularly those experienced in entity formation (e.g., applying for EINs, registering entities, maintaining officer records, and more).

Role : Temp Corporate Paralegal

Company: Confidential | Entertainment Company

Location : Playa Vista, California 90094, United States

Schedule : Onsite Monday - Thursday; Remote on Friday

Pay Rate: $40.00/hour

Hours : 9 AM - 5 PM PT

Duration : ASAP - Open-ended, with potential for full-time conversion based on the right fit

Responsibilities :

• Oversee the organization and maintenance of corporate records for the company and its subsidiaries, including corporate filings, capitalization tables, minute books, closing sets, and data rooms
• Manage the execution of transaction documents, ensuring completeness and obtaining signatory authority as needed
• Assist in the preparation, review, and negotiation of legal documents such as non-disclosure agreements, organizational documents, board resolutions, consulting agreements, and shareholder consents

Preferred Experience:

• 6+ years of experience as a corporate paralegal at a top-tier law firm, with a strong background in corporate transactions, or in the corporate legal department of an investment firm or operating company
• Strong corporate paralegal skill set, with particular expertise in entity formation (e.g., applying for EINs, registering entities, maintaining officer records, etc.)
• Experience in production, content, or media environments is highly preferred, but not required
• A bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred; paralegal certification is a plus
