Operations Manager – Warehousing & Logistics

Overview:

A well-established logistics and warehousing company is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Operations Manager to support day-to-day operations across multiple facilities. This role is positioned as a key leadership opportunity with long-term growth potential.

Location:

Galveston, TX

Compensation:

• Base salary: $70,000–$80,000
• Annual bonus: Targeted at 15%

Work Schedule:

Standard hours are approximately 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee operational workflows across multiple warehouse sites
• Support logistics coordination for inbound and outbound shipments
• Monitor inventory and ensure accurate documentation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency
• Assist in budgeting, reporting, and performance tracking
• Utilize Excel and internal systems for data analysis and operational planning

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Strong proficiency with Excel and general computer skills
• Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations
• Comfortable working in a traditional, industrial warehouse environment
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Leadership potential with a proactive, team-oriented mindset

Preferred (but not required):

• Background in cotton storage or agricultural logistics
