Job Description

JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for strategically aligning agile teams deliver projects efficiently and to high standards by coaching, facilitating, and continuously improving team processes. They bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, resolve operational challenges, optimize workflows, and align project outcomes with strategic objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of delivery coaches and agile practitioners, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture across multiple delivery teams.
  • Establish clear objectives, performance metrics, and growth paths for team members, providing ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Work closely with business leaders, technical teams, and stakeholders to design and refine delivery strategies that ensure on-time, high-quality project outcomes.
  • Facilitate the development and execution of delivery roadmaps that align with organizational goals, ensuring that team efforts translate into measurable business value.
  • Guide teams through effective planning sessions, retrospectives, and agile ceremonies, ensuring that delivery practices remain adaptive and responsive to change.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between agile delivery teams and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication regarding progress, challenges, and risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and priorities, ensuring that delivery plans and agile practices align with evolving business needs.
  • Foster an environment of open dialogue and collaboration, bridging the gap between technical teams and business units to support strategic decision-making.
  • Guide multiple agile teams in the delivery of projects and solutions-such as data management initiatives-ensuring adherence to quality standards and timely execution.
  • Implement, coach, and continuously refine agile methodologies (e.g., sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, retrospectives) to optimize team performance and project outcomes. Ensure that teams understand and adhere to relevant regulatory, compliance, and quality standards while proactively managing risks and impediments.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, enhance collaboration, and increase transparency across teams to boost overall organizational performance.
  • Perform additional job related duties as needed.

Qualifications

DEGREE TYPE: Bachelor's Degree

FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Business Management, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering or related study.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the role of Agile Project Manager or Delivery Coach, with focus on delivering solutions preferably in the cruise industry.

COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:

  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Lean, and be adept at facilitating agile ceremonies and driving continuous improvement.
  • Essential skills include effective team coaching, conflict resolution, and excellent communication to align cross-functional teams with strategic objectives.
  • Expertise in project management, data analysis, and performance metrics is crucial, alongside a solid grasp of change management principles and the use of agile tools.
  • This combination of technical, analytical, and interpersonal skills enables the Delivery Coach to optimize team performance and ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality projects.
