Job Description

This position is for Insurance Sales Agents based in the Metro-Detroit or Battle Creek areas. It offers a combination of fieldwork and the flexibility to work from your home office.

As a Career Field Agent with UIG, you will represent top-rated insurance carriers, guiding seniors and families through their healthcare options. This position offers a structured career path, company-generated leads, and industry-leading support to help you succeed.

Responsibilities

  • Educate and advise clients on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplements, Prescription Drug Plans, as well as Life and other ancillary insurance products.
  • Conduct needs-based sales presentations to match clients with the best coverage.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through follow-ups and customer service.
  • Utilize company-provided leads and marketing support to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings through ongoing training and development.
  • Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and professional development programs.
  • Maintain compliance with all state and federal insurance regulations.

Qualifications

  • Active Health & Life Insurance License (or willingness to obtain).
  • Previous sales experience (insurance sales preferred but not required).
  • Passion for helping seniors navigate their healthcare choices.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to thrive in a performance-based environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented culture.
  • Basic proficiency in technology, CRM systems, email, and virtual meetings.
