Job Description

Independent Contractor - Administrative Assistant- Part Time - 30 Hours Week - Remote

$25-$30 per hour

The Administrative Associate (AA) performs a variety of tasks to support the Nurses and Administrative Staff and to maintain the ongoing activities of the business. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • File and review documentation in online database for accuracy.
  • Track reports and provide updated information to management as requested.
  • Support the flow of information to and from the Agencies via the online Agency portal. 
  • Assist in special projects
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum three (3) years experience in an administrative position.
  • Minimum two (2) years experience in a medical administration position.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology.
  • Must have working, stable internet connection.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Must be able to fluently communicate in written and spoken English

Independent Contractor Expectations:

  • Must be available to work during the hours of 9am-5pm (EST), 6 hours daily.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Quick learner, problem-solver, and strong decision-making skills.
  • Detail oriented, accurate with good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to cross-train on complimentary positions and provide back-up support where and when needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple duties.
  • Must be able to answer phones.
  • Must be able to adapt to technology  

 

Physical requirements:

  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds up to 4 times during a scheduled workday.
  • Must be able to sit and look at a computer for 6 hours during a scheduled workday.
  • Must be able to type on a computer (both laptop and desktop) keyboard and utilize a computer mouse for 6 hours during a scheduled workday.
  • Must be able to walk up and down a minimum of 20 stairs.
  • Must be able to stand for a minimum of 90 minutes.
  • Must be able to bend, kneel, and squat throughout the day.

Compensation details: 25-30 Hourly Wage
