This is a fulltime opportunity with extensive travel (50%). This role is NOT open to C2C, OPT, or Visa consideration. No vendor support needed.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Implementation Engineer to lead and support the deployment of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related e-commerce fulfillment solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse or WMS implementation, a deep understanding of e-commerce fulfillment processes, and proven success in managing complex, cross-functional projects.

This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional communication, planning, and organizational skills who can collaborate across departments, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end implementation of WMS and fulfillment technology solutions in warehouse and distribution environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical and operational implementation plans aligned with project timelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, Product, and Customer Support to ensure seamless integration and execution.
• Oversee and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring successful delivery from initiation through go-live.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, project kick-offs, and post-implementation reviews to drive alignment and continuous improvement.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and opportunities, ensuring contingency plans are in place.
• Provide on-site and remote support during system launches and stabilization periods.
• Document processes, configurations, and learnings to support future rollouts and internal knowledge sharing.
• Continuously improve implementation methodologies and tools to enhance project efficiency and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience in WMS or warehouse technology implementations, preferably within e-commerce or fulfillment environments.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-site or multi-phase projects with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, order fulfillment, inventory management, and shipping logistics.
• Exceptional planning, organizational, and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, timelines, and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies in project delivery.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with leading WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan, Blue Yonder, HighJump, SAP EWM).
• PMP or similar project management certification.
• Experience working in 3PL or multi-client fulfillment environments.
• Familiarity with agile or hybrid project management methodologies.
