Description:
The NineLine Housing coordinator serves as the bridge in our immediate housing, coordination fund collection, admin support, screenings, and on-site support for clients, reports to the QRF program manager on the supportive needs of clients in housing, and manages the NineLine HMIS and coordinates entry for county and state compliance for our org. This role is imperative in managing the shared housing model for Nineline and supporting the QRF team with outreach, screenings, and enrollments in the program. Responsibilities include.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management and daily operations of the NineLine Housing program, including training, supervision, and evaluation of case management staff and interns.
• Provide and coordinate an integrated model of care that gives access to physical, medical, behavioral, and psychological health and well-being services.
• Supervise and assist with implementing a comprehensive housing plan for each veteran in conjunction with case managers.
• Take a leadership role in performance management and progressive engagement with clients.
• Complies with applicable federal, state, and local legal requirements by reviewing existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising the Board on needed actions.
• Visit housing locations and assist with maintenance of the physical facilities and all necessary housing-related program licensure and accreditation. Alert leadership in writing for issues (physical or with personnel) that require leadership intervention or immediate assistance. (To include seeking bids for repairs of homes)
• Collaborate with the staff, program administration, and community partners to evaluate referrals and admissions to the program in relation to potential clients' needs.
• Oversee and periodically review documentation systems and reports, as well as ensure compliance with quality assurance and safety programs; maintain all required paperwork and documentation necessary for program census maintenance and necessary recurring documentation to support program funding.
• Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees, including case management note reviews and direct contact with veteran clients.
• Coordinates and attends house meetings to ensure participation in veteran stability plan development, encourage veteran attendance of recovery and case management programs, and facilitate referrals to community partners.
• Identify client and case manager training needs and respond to leadership training opportunities.
• Emergency contact for off business hours on a rotating basis.
• Outreach with community agencies
• Additional duties as assigned.
NineLine Housing Director Qualifications
• An Ideal candidate would have a bachelor's degree with two years of experience or 4-5 years of experience or a marriage of both in business, human services, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of mental health systems, trauma-informed care, behavior management, and practical experience with veterans required, including familiarity with VA and SSVF programs.
• Prior experience working in a residential setting preferred.
• Skills in case management, supervision, grant and program oversight, and experience working with diversified staff preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with other community agencies and program administration is strongly preferred.
