Founding Software Engineer – Early-Stage AI Startup (On-Site in SF)

Join a high-growth, venture-backed AI startup reshaping how businesses interact with customers through real-time, emotionally intelligent voice technology. Fresh off a top accelerator program and backed by leading investors, the team is scaling rapidly — and you’ll be building core products from the ground up.

Responsibilities:

• Build and scale full-stack systems across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and integrations.
• Drive product and technical decisions alongside the founding team.
• Take projects from idea to launch in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment.
• Collaborate directly with customers to continuously improve the product.

Qualifications:

• 3–8 years of professional engineering experience.
• Full-stack expertise — confident across modern frontend and backend technologies.
• 0→1 builder: hands-on experience creating products from scratch, ideally at an early-stage startup.
• Comfortable working in a high-intensity environment with extreme ownership.
• Willing to work fully on-site in San Francisco

Nice to Haves:

• Background in AI, NLP, or large language models (LLMs).
• Experience with customer-facing applications or automation systems.
• Top-tier academic background is a plus, not a must.

Compensation

• Salary: $150K–$200K USD + equity
• Relocation Support: Available within the U.S. (must be eligible to work in the US)
