Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Field Safety Manager to elevate and manage the safety culture at Curb. In this pivotal role, you will safeguard the health and well-being of our field teams, shop crews, warehouse staff, and office employees while ensuring compliance with OSHA/Cal OSHA and all relevant safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of safety across all Curb business units and job sites.
• Design, implement, and continuously refine safety policies and practices that are both effective and practical.
• Partner with field and operational leadership to embed safety into daily operations, ensuring accountability at every level.
• Maintain and update all safety documentation, including the Injury and Illness Prevention Program, OSHA logs, and job hazard analyses.
• Lead root cause investigations and introduce preventative measures for all incidents.
• Monitor, measure, and report on safety KPIs including:
• DART and incident rates
• Experience modification rate (EMR)
• Workers’ compensation claims cost per installer man hour

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction safety management, with at least 3 years in high-risk environments such as roofing.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• OSHA 30 certification required; OSHA 500 preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Fluency in Spanish is highly preferred.

The base salary range for this position is $95,000 to $120,000 annually. Please note that the actual compensation offered may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location. This role is also eligible for benefits and additional incentives in accordance with company policy.
