LOCATION: Private family ranch on the west side of Houston, United States

SUMMARY: The Executive Protection Agent will provide for the welfare, physical protection, and security of multiple high-profile clients by performing armed executive protection assignments and estate security.

DUTIES:

• Provide close protection and other security-related functions for the clients.
• Perform protective advance planning and threat vulnerability assessments.
• Transport the client and/or family members to events and appointments, using evasive and/or defensive driving tactics, as needed.
• Effectively manage the client and/or their family/representative requests against the need to ensure all safety and security precautions.
• Respond to emergencies and perform medical operations, as needed.
• Deescalate tense situations or individuals that arise at the client residence and/or events.
• Complete suspicious activity reports, incident reports. shift logs, pattern of life reports, medical treatment reports, and other administrative requirements.
• Ensure vehicle is in clean and safe operating conditions before transporting clients (Fleet service crew on location).
• Operate and maintain protective, operations, and communications equipment.
• All other duties, as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preference is given to graduates of a reputable Executive Protection training school.
• Preference is given to candidates with 5+ years’ experience in corporate and executive protection.
• Preference is given to candidates with experience in high threat environments.
• Must be willing to participate in the Company pre-employment screening process including background investigation.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation and communication (cell phone).
• Must be eligible for employment within the United States.
• Must have the ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Must have a valid and current Level 4 PPO security license issued by the State of Texas.
• Experience in a variety of Executive Protection activities including advance planning, surveillance/counter surveillance operations, and security driving for high net-worth individuals.
• Defensive driving tactics training/experience.
• Able to pass a firearms qualification course.
• Able to pass a Physical Readiness Test
• Demonstrated capability of rendering medical aid to individuals across all age groups.

• Work in environments and under conditions that require carrying authorized weapons and ammunition, the use of protective gear and devices, and/or awareness of personal safety and safety of others.
• Exposure to sensitive and confidential information.
• Regular computer usage.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
• Must be able to see, hear, speak, and write clearly to communicate with employees and/or customers.
• Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent sitting, standing and/or walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• On occasion, may be required to perform stressful and physical activity.
• 24/7 availability to the client.

Appearance and Grooming Standards:

All Agents are expected to maintain a conservative professional appearance while on property in the course of their duties.

1) All tattoos will be covered.

2) Males shall not display any piercings. Females are allowed to wear studs earrings only. No other piercings should be displayed.

3) Hair styles, colors, and cuts will appear natural and consistent with a conservative work environment.

4) Facial hair must be well groomed and maintained. Certain clients mandate agents on their detail be clean shaven. Agents will be deployed to protection details based on their appearance standards.

When on property, Agents will wear dark wash jeans absent of holes or tears, neutral-colored casual pants, boots (Western or hiking), and a button-down shirt.

When conducting movements off property, agents are expected to wear long-sleeve shirt in the style of Texas Business Casual (button downs or blouses), closed toe dress shoes, and an occasional sports coat.

At all times, clothing and firearms shall be worn in accordance with Texas Occupations Code Sec. 1702.206 and Texas Administrative Code §35.93.
