Director Quality Assurance, G-III Warehouses


Profile

:The Director Quality Assurance is responsible for quality assurance operations at G-III warehouse and 3PL facilities, sampling incoming product to ensure vendors and manufacturers are following quality standards for shipping, packing, labeling, and production. Based in New Jersey, this role focuses on implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes within warehouse environments, addressing quality issues with overseas Quality Control team, and fostering a proactive culture of accountability and improvement

.The Director Quality Assurance, G-III – Warehouses will play a critical role in bridging communication between warehouse operations, overseas Quality Control, production teams and vendors to ensure seamless quality control procedures. This role requires strong knowledge of Apparel product QC or QA and process, strong communication skills, analytics skills, and the ability to influence and build trust across cross functional teams. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in QC/QA for apparel, with a strong understanding of warehouse processes and logistics

.The Director of Quality Assurance - Warehouse is responsible for overseeing and enhancing the quality assurance processes within the Distribution organization. This role collaborates with the Overseas Quality Control team to establish and enforce quality standards, procedures, and guidelines. By utilizing and leveraging quality data, customer feedback, and industry best practices, the Director drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed customer expectations while ensuring operational efficiency

Key Responsibilitie

  1. s:Establish and oversee QA processes within G-III’s warehouse facilities, ensuring inbound and outbound products meet established quality standard
  2. s.Lead QA operations at G-III’s New Jersey warehouse and 3PL domestic facilities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and operational efficienc
  3. y.Develop sampling methodology for manufactured product
  4. s.Direct warehouse-based inspections to identify defects, packaging issues, and non-compliance with product specification
  5. s.Address recurring quality issues, using data to determine trends and implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrenc
  6. e.Ensure that warehouse QA teams operate efficiently, effectively, and consistently, adhering to best practices and company policie
  7. s.Lead on-site inspections to evaluate product quality upon arrival, addressing issues such as defective goods or improper packagin
  8. g.Work with warehouse leadership to standardize QA procedures and build trust and collaboration between QA staff and facility manager
  9. s.Foster an open, communicative environment to address operational gaps or performance issues within the facilitie

Qualificatio

  1. ns:Bachelor’s degree in quality management, supply chain or a related fi
  2. eld15+ years of experience in quality control or quality assurance, within the apparel indus
  3. tryProven experience in leading apparel QC operations within warehouse and distribution environments, including 3PL faciliti
  4. es.Strong knowledge of apparel quality standards, warehouse processes, and logistics workflo
