Job Title: Director of Nursing Services RN - Perioperative Services

Location: Lancaster, CA

Position Type: Permanent

Salary: Up to $205,000 + Benefits (based on experience)

Job Summary:

• The Director of Nursing Services RN - Perioperative Services is responsible for directing and managing the planning, development, implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of quality patient care within multiple departments.
• This role focuses on perioperative services and ensures alignment with nursing standards, service priorities, performance measures, and organizational goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Direct and manage the delivery of nursing services, ensuring safe, high-quality patient care that meets cost, clinical, and utilization standards.
• Ensure that services align with physician, internal client, and patient needs within a competitive healthcare environment.
• Develop and implement strategies to integrate and enhance services across multiple sites and departments.
• Oversee continuous quality improvement, patient safety, and the implementation of clinical best practices.
• Lead and manage teams effectively, ensuring appropriate staff development, training, and operational efficiency.
• Direct and oversee budget management, resource allocation, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including local, state, and federal healthcare regulations.
• Hire, develop, and manage nursing staff, addressing human resource and labor relations issues.
• May assume responsibilities of Nurse Executive in their absence.

Basic Requirements:

Experience:

• Minimum 8 years of acute healthcare nursing experience.
• Minimum 4 years of progressive management and supervisory experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in Operating Room (OR).
• Ambulatory Surgery Center ( ASC ) experience of at least 2-3 years.

Education:

• Master's degree in nursing, health administration, business, public health, or management.
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in nursing required.

License & Certification:

• Active Registered Nurse License (California).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience working in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.

Travel: Yes, up to 15% of the time
