Job Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager will serve as a player/coach, overseeing the digital marketing strategy for American Bath Group’s wholesale marketing team while managing content and campaign execution to a team of 2-3 direct reports and external agencies. This role balances strategic leadership with hands-on work, focusing on data analysis, coaching, and identifying opportunities to optimize performance across SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and CRM (HubSpot). The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader who can lead teams, manage agencies, and step in for targeted tasks to drive results. This manager will collaborate closely with channel and sales teams to align strategies with market needs, competition, and field insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development & Execution : Design and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to enhance brand visibility, lead generation, and customer engagement, taking a hands-on role in high-impact projects.
  • Player/Coach Leadership : Actively lead campaign planning, data analysis, and CRM optimization while guiding team members and agencies to execute content and campaigns effectively.
  • Team & Agency Collaboration : Lead a team of 2-3 digital marketing professionals and manage external agencies to ensure alignment with business goals and top-quality deliverables.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making : Leverage performance metrics across SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and CRM to identify opportunities, address gaps, and drive strategic decisions.
  • SEO/SEM Leadership : Lead search engine optimization and marketing efforts, making strategic adjustments and diving into execution when needed to maximize results.
  • Social Media Strategy : Develop and oversee social media strategies to ensure brand consistency and engagement, with hands-on involvement in content planning or crisis response as required.
  • Email Marketing Excellence : Drive targeted email campaigns, leading strategy and segmentation while selectively contributing to content development.
  • CRM Optimization : Manage and enhance HubSpot for customer relationship management and marketing automation, taking a hands-on role in complex workflows or segmentation.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment : Partner with channel and sales teams to align digital strategies with market opportunities, competitive trends, and field insights.
  • Innovation & Trends : Stay ahead of industry trends, integrating innovative tools and techniques to expand American Bath Group’s digital presence.
  • Performance Reporting : Deliver actionable insights and regular performance reports to leadership, using data to optimize ROI and inform strategic priorities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Deep expertise in SEO/SEM, social media, email marketing, and CRM (HubSpot experience preferred).
  • Proven ability to lead strategically, execute hands-on, and mentor teams or agencies to achieve exceptional results.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of using data to identify opportunities and drive performance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic yet detail-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation and driving measurable growth.
  • Experience in wholesale or B2B marketing is a plus but not required.
