About the Role

The Digital Marketing Manager is a strategic and proactive leader responsible for overseeing a team focused on driving growth within the wholesale sales channels. This role manages two direct reports—an Social Specialist and an Email/CRM Specialist—and targets key audiences including plumbing wholesalers, plumbers, developers, contractors, and architects. The manager will assess market trends, provide actionable feedback to the channel team, and execute integrated marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on email marketing, social media, and website activities. The manager will understand our full tech stack, engage with the channel and project managers to better optimize our digital go-to-market strategy and provide ideas and guidance on ways to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a team focused on driving growth within the wholesale sales channels.
  • Manage two direct reports—an Social Specialist and an Email/CRM Specialist.
  • Target key audiences including plumbing wholesalers, plumbers, developers, contractors, and architects.
  • Assess market trends and provide actionable feedback to the channel team.
  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns with a strong emphasis on email marketing, social media, and website activities.
  • Engage with channel and project managers to optimize digital go-to-market strategy.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Experience: 5-7 years of marketing experience, with a focus on integrated marketing campaigns in B2B environments. Experience in the wholesale, construction, or home improvement sectors is highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the commercial bathware market and its key stakeholders (wholesalers, plumbers, developers, contractors, architects) is a significant advantage but not required.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing marketing teams, with a track record of developing talent and driving performance in a collaborative setting.

  • Digital Marketing Proficiency: Strong understanding of SEM, email marketing, and social media, with the capability to guide and optimize the work of the Social Specialist and Email/CRM Specialist, and digital agencies.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in assessing market trends, interpreting data, and delivering actionable insights to the channel team to enhance decision-making and strategy.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work cross-functionally, present recommendations, and align with stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple brands, websites, campaigns, deadlines, and priorities while ensuring timely execution of activities.
  • Email Marketing Knowledge: Deep understanding of email marketing best practices, including segmentation, personalization, automation, and performance tracking.
  • Social Media Expertise: Ability to oversee the creation of engaging social media content, manage editorial calendars, and use analytics to refine strategies.
  • SEO and SEM Expertise: Proficiency in the various tools and techniques with organic and paid search engine efforts. Able to read and review reports to understand our efforts and where we can optimize and improve.
  • HubSpot CRM Understanding: Ability to leverage the tools and benefits of HubSpot for the various channels served.

Preferred Skills

  • Campaign Management: A proven track record of leading successful integrated marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results, particularly in B2B or wholesale contexts.
  • Team Leadership: Experience managing SEM and email/social media specialists, leveraging their expertise to achieve marketing objectives and drive channel growth.
  • Market Assessment: Demonstrated ability to proactively analyze market conditions, identify opportunities, and provide strategic, actionable feedback to the channel team.
  • Email Marketing Execution: Hands-on experience with email marketing, including developing targeted campaigns, optimizing performance, and guiding the Email/Social Specialist in best practices.
  • Social Media Execution: Practical knowledge of social media strategy, from content creation to performance analysis, ensuring alignment with the needs of bathing wholesalers, plumbers, developers, contractors, and architects.
  • SEO/SEM Execution: Experience in leading SEO/SEM efforts to drive organic and paid traffic to websites including a focus on ensuring conversion, reporting and optimization.

Pay range and compensation package

  • Salary: $70,000-80,000
