Job Description

Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the creative team, overseeing design projects, and ensuring the development of exceptional web and mobile applications. As the VP of Brand and Creative, you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand identity and ensuring its effective implementation across various platforms. This role requires a hands-on approach—while leadership is key, you must also be willing to dive into the work yourself, actively contributing to design execution and problem-solving. Additionally, our primary focus is on client projects, with only a small portion of work dedicated to our own brand, so an understanding of client-driven priorities is essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate creative meetings, providing direction and guidance to the creative team.
  • Review and provide feedback on the work produced by designers, ensuring it aligns with the company's brand guidelines and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the development of new versions of web and mobile applications, driving innovation and user-centric design.
  • Participate in weekly project meetings, contributing creative insights and ensuring design deliverables are on track.
  • Take a hands-on approach to designing user management systems, considering usability, functionality, and visual aesthetics.
  • Be actively involved in the design process , working alongside the team to refine and execute high-quality creative work.
  • Conduct engaging client demos, presenting and explaining new designs to clients while addressing their feedback and concerns.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with the design team members, providing mentorship, performance feedback, and fostering professional growth.
  • Utilize project management tools like ClickUp to monitor project progress, track tasks, and ensure timely completion of design-related activities.
  • Attend client meetings to understand their brand objectives, requirements, and expectations, and incorporate them into the design process.
  • Participate in discovery and exploration meetings to understand project scope, user needs, and design challenges.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop accurate estimates for design projects, considering timelines, resources, and complexity.
  • Prioritize client projects, ensuring that our efforts align with their needs and expectations, while also contributing to the evolution of our own brand identity.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
