Together we are searching for a Controller to join their team on a full-time basis with a hybrid schedule at their Pleasantville, NJ location.

Requirements:

  • Carrying out the company’s fiduciary responsibility in its relationship with investors, agencies, and owners of properties under our management.
  • Reviews budgets for the managed properties at the beginning of the year and at mid-year along with Executive Staff.
  • Responsible for Housing Assistance Payments contract renewals; determines, together with Regional Managers, whether rent increases should be budget or OCAF; responsible for notification letters to HUD and residents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, CPA, or graduate degree.
  • Three to five years of experience time managing staff.
  • Familiarity with accounting and property management modules of Real Page or other property management and accounting software.
  • Previous experience in affordable housing, and multi-family real estate.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills which will enable clear concise communication with staff and outside parties.

Compensation, Benefits, Perks:

Compensation : $125k-$150k based on experience.
