Job Posting: Sales/Community Relations Specialist (Senior Care, Non-Profit)

Our client is seeking a dynamic, customer-focused Community Relations Specialist to join our dedicated and compassionate team. This key role focuses on fostering meaningful relationships with potential residents and their families, guiding them through the transition to assisted living, and serving as a trusted resource in the local senior community.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to meet occupancy goals.
  • Act as a liaison between residents, families, and administration, ensuring smooth communication.
  • Design and manage promotional materials to showcase our community.
  • Manage inquiries from initial contact to move-in, including hosting tours and providing guidance to families.
  • Maintain and organize a marketing database with prospective resident information.
  • Prepare detailed marketing reports for internal use and board meetings.
  • Educate seniors about the benefits of assisted living and effectively convert leads into move-ins.

Additional Expectations:

  • Serve as Admissions Coordinator.
  • Recruit occupants and develop community relationships.
  • Complete all paperwork for move-in as required by state regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist potential residents and families from initial contact to move-in.
  • Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and administration.
  • Communicate effectively to build rapport with all parties involved.
  • Develop relationships within both the Catholic and non-Catholic communities.
  • Manage daily marketing activities, events, and event planning.
  • Implement and facilitate annual marketing plans.
  • Develop promotional materials, including marketing, print, and collateral copies.
  • Administer a marketing database with prospect and client information.
  • Research and develop marketing opportunities and implement strategic plans.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of prior work experience in an assisted living facility.
  • Experience in marketing assisted living facilities preferred.
  • Comfortable working in a faith-based enviroment.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with computer programs, such as Microsoft Office.

Salary:

  • Starting at $55,000/year, negotiable based on experience.
