Job Description

Opportunity Enterprises is currently hiring for a full-time or part-time Chauffer to safely drive our clients to and from their needed destinations in the Valparaiso, IN area. This driving/human services position earns a competitive wage of $18/hr.

DAY-TO-DAY

This human services/driving position offers either full-time or part-time work. Regardless of the status, we need the new hire to work 5 days/week.

In this driving position, you have the opportunity to provide safe and efficient transportation for the individuals our company serves. Whether you"re working on a full-time or part-time basis, you are always diligent and dedicated to upholding the highest standards of performance. Each day is a little different as you drive clients to appointments, day programs, and more. When talking to your passengers, you always communicate with professionalism, clarity, and compassion. You love having the opportunity to serve those with disabilities, working for a nonprofit, and contributing to the team in an important way!

REQUIREMENTS FOR A CHAUFFER

High school diploma or equivalent
Age 18 or older
Valid driver"s license and good driving record
Current Covid-19 vaccination or proof of exemption
Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening upon hire
Possession of a for-hire endorsement is preferred but can be obtained during employment.
