Job Summary and Qualifications

The Cath Lab Specialist is effective in assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab. The Cath Lab Specialist is a professional care giver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients, under the direction of registered nurse, for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

What qualifications you will need:

• ARRT or X-Ray License in the State of Florida. OR Certified in cardiovascular technology OR Credentialed Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or obtain within 6 months from hire. OR Certified Respiratory Therapist
• Current BLS & ACLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited school of cardiovascular technology. OR Graduate of an accredited school of radiation sciences OR Graduate of an accredited school of respiratory therapy.
• Required 500 Hours of Interventional Cardiology Experience
