About ICON Concerts:

ICON Concerts is a boutique promoter specializing in live comedy tours and events. We prioritize putting the artist first and ensuring transparency for consumers. Our team promotes and produces full tours and one-off dates, offering a 360-degree tour experience with zero egos. Our specialty is building, developing, and branding artists through white-label touring while working behind the scenes to let the artist shine.

Role Overview:

The Booker's key role is working in conjunction with our ticketing, marketing, and production teams. This position is responsible for planning and executing tours, as well as managing internal processes related to these events.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for developing and managing the "360 degrees" of a tour.
• Develops tour route strategy.
• Create and submit offers to artist agents.
• Establish, build, and maintain positive relations with agents, managers, and industry representatives.
• Oversee Marketing, Ticketing, and Production of each event booked. 
• Handle all regional and local agents, assisting with national acts as needed. 
• Negotiate all contractual agreements between ICON and artist agents. 
• Research comedians to develop future pipelines. 
• Establish relationships with industry people.
• Manage the budget of each event to ensure financial success.
• Execute the night of artist and venue settlements in a variety of venues.
• Coordinate with production managers to ensure a successful show onsite. 
• Responsible for forecasting the projection of events booked. 
• Manage internal documentation as required (Internal Software, Calendars, Ticketing, etc.)
• Represent ICON at industry and office events as requested.
• Ensure and maintain superior customer service.

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of comedy and concerts, both historical and current. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Impeccable organizational skills.
• Self-starter.
• Must have 3-5 years of booking experience in the entertainment or event industry. 
• Must have high-level experience in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), Airtable, Dropbox, and Google Suite.
