LHH Recruitment Solutions (Formerly Accounting Principals) has partnered with one of the leading Construction group to hire a Bilingual in Spanish Payroll Specialist on a contract-to-hire basis. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of payroll processing, experience with multi-state, and comfortable with backup HR/Admin duties. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and submit accurate hourly payroll.
• Verify accuracy of checks for weekly distribution
• Maintain payroll records
• Maintain I-9 binders and I-9 retention forms
• Manage mailouts for birthdays and anniversaries
• Assist with benefit enrollment announcements
• Support new hire onboarding activities
• Assist with event planning – holiday and HR events
• Answer employee’s questions concerning deductions, garnishments, etc. as needed.
• Set up new employees in the time keeping system.
• Maintain and troubleshoot problems with time clocks
• Other duties as assigned
