Job Title: Associate Liaison

Entry Level Medical Sales

Market: Toledo, OH

Employment Type: Full-Time

Year 1 OTE: $60,000 - $90,000

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic medical sales team focused on infusion referrals for our ambulatory infusion network.

Key Responsibilities

1. Promote/Sell Infusion Services

Learn Horizon Infusions’ sales and account support approach by working closely with the local field liaison. Upon mastering our techniques and approach, this candidate will assist the local liaison in market development by:

· Assess clients’ needs and present our infusion services as a solution

· Present infusion service information

· Communicate with and persuade targeted doctors and referral coordinators to refer our services utilizing effective selling skills

· Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and other company mandated events

· Keep detailed records by 100% utilization of CRM

· Manage budgets for catering, sponsored events and hospitality

· Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message

· Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the local liaison and/or discuss future targets with the area sales manager

2. Team Collaboration

Work closely with the local liaison and other departments to ensure seamless experiences for patients and referral sources. Facilitate communication and problem resolution when appropriate.

3. Account Support

Field support will be required for specific offices as identified by Horizon Infusions. This would involve visiting offices to collect clinical information or provide account maintenance/ appreciation.

4. Order/Referral Coordination

Assist in managing and processing referrals from healthcare providers, ensuring timely and accurate collection of missing data. Identify scenarios that may require additional effort such as documentation from other specialists, letters of medical necessity, information from patient (i.e. lab work). Ensure that all necessary documentation is recorded and maintained completely within our clinical software system.

5. Local Liaison Sales Support

Provide inside and outside support to Clinical Sales Liaisons to include gathering documentation from referral sources, preparing reports for sales as requested, tracking referral progress, and managing follow-up communication with offices or patients. Meeting and event planning assistance will also be part of this role.

6. Database Management

Maintain and update patient records in our clinical software system. Ensure that referrals reflect the accurate stage and are assigned to the correct person/department. Monitor and track the status of incomplete, pending and complete referrals.

Qualifications

  • 3 years’ of successful experience as a medical sales representative or other sales role

· Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.), healthcare and CRM software 

  • Knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent teamwork and networking skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills

Education and Knowledge

Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology, infusion therapy, and healthcare referral processes is highly beneficial.
