Job Description

Job summary : This assistant technologist will work as a part of our clinical team to provide non-invasive treatments to patients under the guidance and supervision of a physician. This role will include prepping patients for non-invasive treatment, administering treatments, prepping patients for qEEG data collection, record-keeping, checking patients in and out, and other aspects of clinic operations. On-the-job training will be provided. This will be a part-time position at first with opportunity to grow with the company.

Key responsibilities:  

• Administer non-invasive treatments (after thorough training), ensuring safe and effective treatment.
• Prepare patients for treatment sessions and explain procedures in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Assist in conducting qEEGs and other neurophysiological assessments, including setup, calibration, and data collection.
• Monitor patients during treatments for safety and comfort and report any concerns to supervising staff.
• Maintain accurate treatment logs and patient records.
• Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling, answering phones, and checking patients in and out.
• Sanitize equipment and maintain a clean clinical environment.
• Adapt to evolving clinic protocols and technologies as the practice grows.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience in a clinical or patient-facing setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while following established procedures and safety protocols.
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, committed to patient well-being, and eager to learn.
• Fluent in English language.

Physical requirements

• Ability to sit for a period of 25 minutes at a time.
• Comfortable working with light-based technology within quiet, low stimulus environments.
